Recovery teaches us something powerful: success is not defined by never falling. It is defined by the courage to get back up, again and again. Recovery is a process of healing, growth, self-discovery, and movement to a self-directed life.
No two recovery journeys look the same. Each person and family brings their own experiences, challenges, strengths, and goals. While the path is often marked by obstacles, it is also filled with resilience, determination, and hope. Every day, we witness individuals choosing to keep moving forward, even when the road ahead feels difficult.
This past year, we saw parents work to reunify with their children, families rebuild trust and stability, healthy babies born in our care, and residents take meaningful steps toward long-term recovery. We saw people choose connection over isolation and perseverance over giving up. These moments remind us that you can get back up one more time than you fall.
Our residences are located in a Georgia region where the opioid crisis continues to affect individuals, families, and entire communities. These trends are reflected in our own programs, where 45% of residents admitted last year had a diagnosed opioid use disorder. Behind every statistic is a person seeking hope, healing, and the opportunity to build a healthier future.
The stories and outcomes shared in this report reflect what is possible when people have access to care, stability, and support at the right time. Your support helps us meet people in some of the hardest moments of their lives and help them get back up.
