Residents who successfully complete the Foundation program will transition to a required 3 months of Alumni Care to receive a certificate of completion for the Acceptance Recovery program, but can choose to participate in the Alumni Care program for up to an additional year or any length required to meet desired outcomes. Individuals can also choose to enter the Alumni program from the community (having not participated in the Foundation program) based on assessment and admission criteria. Alumni participants can enroll as a resident who lives on property, or can live at home if approved. The alumni coordinator ensures that participants are attending our weekly alumni meeting and assists in the coordination of prosocial recovery events within the community. Alumni participants meet with the alumni coordinator to develop an individualized care plan that consists of a minimum of 3 S.M.A.R.T goals they need to achieve in order to successfully complete the program and transition into independent living as applicable. The alumni coordinator develops an appropriate meeting frequency to ensure alumni are maintaining recovery, gainful employment, monetary savings, and progress toward meeting their goals for successful completion.
