DRUG & ALCOHOL POLICY

Acceptance Recovery Center maintains a drug- and alcohol-free environment centered on personal growth, integrity, and community safety. All residents complete an initial screening upon admission, followed by at least weekly observed screenings to support continuous accountability. Because Acceptance Recovery is a recovery residence rather than a detox facility, individuals needing medical detoxification are referred to appropriate external care. To protect the health and recovery environment of our community, possessing alcohol, illicit substances, unauthorized medications, or prohibited items (including vapes) on the premises is strictly prohibited and results in immediate program discharge.

WHAT TO BRING

Clothing (laundry service available):

5 pairs of work clothes
5 pairs of casual wear
2-3 dress shirts for interviews
Pajamas, socks, & underwear
2-3 jackets
Shoes (flip flops, work boots, slip resistant/non-skid, etc.)

Toiletry & Personal Hygiene Items:

Toothpaste/toothbrush
Shampoo
Soap
Toilet Paper
Razors/trimmers & shaving cream
Deodorant (no aerosol)
Comb/hair brush
Laundry detergent/fabric softener

Miscellaneous:

Linens are provided, but if you choose to bring your own
- 3 towels, wash clothes, twin sheets & comforter/blanket
Laundry basket & hangers
Current prescribed medications (NON- NARCOTIC) & a 7-day pill container
- All medication prescribed or over the counter MUST be approved by staff
