Ashley Duke came to volunteer at ARC in 2019, after starting her personal recovery journey on June 20, 2018. Born and raised in Athens, GA, she is an active member of her 12 Step community and exudes the qualities of a true servant leader. Ashley helped open our women’s center in May 2019 and lived on site as the facility manager; it is here that she began to recognize her life’s purpose in helping others find freedom from addiction. She and her husband are both Alumni of the Athens DUI Treatment Court Program, and in May 2021, Ashley received her official Counselor-In-Training (CIT) certification. Her story is inspiring to say the least, and she wants others to know that if she can achieve recovery, anyone can.
