Isabel serves as the Program Assistant at Acceptance Recovery Center. Her journey with Acceptance Recovery began as a Social Work Intern while earning her Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) at the University of Georgia in the fall of 2025. Following her internship, she transitioned onto the staff team and is currently completing her Master of Social Work (MSW) along with a Graduate Certificate in Addiction Counseling at UGA, graduating in the fall.
Prior to her work in social work and addiction recovery, Isabel spent two years as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Piedmont, where she discovered her deep passion for direct person-centered care. Addiction holds a particularly special place in her heart, driving her commitment to breaking generational cycles of trauma and advocating for individuals who might otherwise be lost in the criminal justice system. She is dedicated to empowering residents with the support, dignity, and tools needed to build sustainable long-term recovery.
Outside of work and academics, Isabel enjoys staying active through running and hiking. She is also a proud dog mom to her cute dog, Frankie. In all her efforts, she is passionate about creating meaningful change and supporting residents every step of their journey.
