Brandy Witte Anderson, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Acceptance Recovery Center (ARC), stands at the forefront of the battle against Substance Use Disorders. By opening ARC’s doors on January 1, 2016, Brandy turned her personal triumph over addiction into a beacon of hope for many.
Her academic prowess is evident from her Magna Cum Laude graduation in Human Services Delivery and Administration, with a minor in Business Administration from the University of North Georgia, followed by a Master’s Degree in the same field. Adding to her educational accomplishments, between 2015 and 2023 she earned her Addiction Counseling Level II Certification, a National Certification in Addiction Counseling Level I, a certification as a Medically Assistant Treatment Specialist, a Master Addiction Counselor credential, and a Certified Peer Specialist.
Her career is marked by meaningful collaborations with notable organizations including Turning Point Recovery Resources, Angel House of Georgia, Palm House, Cornerstones and the Accountability Courts, where she honed her expertise in substance use treatment. Brandy’s passion for recovery extends to her role on the Board of Directors for the National Alliance of Recovery Residences and as co-founder and CFO of Inclusive Recovery Athens, emphasizing her commitment to diversity and inclusion in recovery processes. She has served on others boards/ committees with Athens Pride and Queer Collective, Steering Committee for the Accountaitly Courts, and with Athens Recovery Fest.
A highlight of Brandy’s journey is her personal commitment to family, taking custody of her niece, Aaliyah Reign, and raising her with the same values of resilience and compassion that she embodies.
