Last chance to participate in our Adopt a Dad holiday gift drive! As some of you may know, during the holiday season Acceptance Recovery Center celebrates the residents in recovery and their families. We invite you once again to join us in our Adopt a Dad holiday fundraiser!
There are many ways to participate, but if you’d like to adopt a family, we have specific information (names, sex, ages and requests) for you to adopt an entire family, do the shopping and deliver the gifts to ARC. Or, you can make a generous donation for someone else to do the shopping.
If you would earn more about how you can participate and help the dads of ARC, please contact our office at 706-308-8860 or private message us on Facebook, or email us at info@arc-ga.org. We would like for all gifts/donations to be turned in to ARC by December 21, 2018.
As a closing, here is a story that resulted from last year’s holiday gift drive!
In 2017, a resident of ARC was able to visit, bring gifts and share Christmas day with his two children for the first time in several years. His addiction had kept him down for too long. He’s now a graduate of ARC, working full-time and restored to his children as an active dad. Last Christmas, 2017 was a significant first step in re-entry and re-building trust with his children.
