A Letter from the CEO
Hi Friends,
Today, we join together to commemorate Juneteenth, a momentous occasion in American history. On this day, June 19th, in 1865, the last remaining enslaved African Americans in Galveston, Texas, were finally informed of their freedom, marking the end of slavery and a significant step towards equality.
Juneteenth is a time for celebration, reflection, and remembrance. It is an opportunity for us to honor the bravery, resilience, and indomitable spirit of those who fought for freedom and justice. It is a day to recognize the profound impact of African American culture, contributions, and heritage on our society.
At Acceptance Recovery Center, we embrace diversity, inclusivity, and equality as core values. Juneteenth serves as a powerful reminder of the ongoing work we must collectively undertake to create a more just and equitable world. It prompts us to reflect on the progress we have made and the steps we need to take towards dismantling systemic barriers and ensuring equal opportunities for all.
We encourage each and every one of you to take a moment today to learn, engage, and honor the significance of Juneteenth. Seek out educational resources, participate in local events, or engage in meaningful conversations with your colleagues, friends, and family. Let us come together to celebrate the journey towards freedom and to amplify the voices and stories that have shaped our nation’s history.
In recognition of this important day, we stand united in fostering an inclusive and supportive environment within our company. We remain committed to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion in every aspect of our business.
May this Juneteenth be a time of reflection, celebration, and continued progress. Let us honor the past, embrace the present, and work towards a future that upholds the values of freedom, justice, and equality for all.
Warm Regards,
Brandy Anderson, Founder and CEO
