Happy Thanksgiving!

This Year ARC Is Serving A Cornucopia of Hope

We are entering the season of gratitude. Acceptance Recovery Center is beyond thankful to our wonderful friends, family, donors, and residents. In November of 2015, ARC was still a seed in the process of being planted. The support that we received in 2016 allowed us to grow. We are presently a program affecting change in the lives of many addicts. THANK YOU!

    Roses From Concreteroses-from-concrete

Acceptance Recovery Center will unveil our latest Campaign “Roses From Concrete” in November 2016.

We will be raising donations for our Women’s Center opening in 2017. We are grateful and excited to share this journey with you. How appropriate that we are starting the campaign in the month of giving thanks!

We will be in need of household items such as bedding, bedside tables, dressers, kitchen items, towels, bath cloths, and many other items to create a safe and clean home for women seeking treatment for addiction. Monetary contributions will be integral in our success to opening our women’s center.

We are able to help others by the gifts and donations from friends like you.
Thank You For Helping Us Help Others, One Addict At A Time.

    ANONYMOUS SUPERSTARanonymous-superstar

Every month we will feature a current resident who is showing exceptional progress in the ARC program. We will maintain anonymity, but offer some insight into each individual’s plight with addiction.

This month our Anonymous Superstar is in recovery from long-term methamphetamine abuse. He started using drugs at the age of 13 and used on and off for 20 years. Our friend once gained four years of abstinence that he does not consider recovery. He remained sad and angry and eventually picked up again. His bottom happened when his father, whom he had remained close with through his troubles, ceased contact with him.

The things he enjoys most about ARC is the way the program models the real world. “Residents are allowed freedom in a structured environment while they attend work, meetings, and have day passes,” our friend shared.

Our Anonymous Superstar hopes to carry the message of recovery to others, finish his college degree, and marry in the future.

chef-kyleARC is looking forward to Sunday, November 12. Kyle Kilgo, local chef extraordinaire of The Graduate in Athens, GA will be joining us to present healthful and simple meal preparation tips. We cannot wait to see what wonderful treats Chef Kyle creates!
