Family Preservation Program:
Meet Russell
Russell, an Acceptance Recovery Center Alumnus from the heart of Georgia, knows the true value of family and the transformative power of acceptance. His journey through recovery has not only been a personal endeavor but a profound experience shared with his family, and it’s a story that echoes the essence of what Acceptance Recovery Center stands for.
For Russell, involving his family in his recovery was not just a choice; it was a lifeline. In his eyes, family is meant to stick together through thick and thin, and ARC provided the ideal platform for this unity to flourish. Here, he found a safe haven where his loved ones could gain firsthand insight into his journey, enabling them to grow together.
ARC’s supportive environment played a pivotal role in Russell’s recovery. He noted that among the various programs he had explored, ARC offered a unique sense of freedom, different from the faith-based organizations he had encountered. During his recovery, Russell had the extraordinary opportunity to witness the birth of his first child, a profound moment that ARC made possible. Moreover, his family joined him in his apartment, fostering a nurturing environment that allowed him to focus on his journey to wellness.
At ARC, family is at the forefront of the recovery process. Acceptance Recovery Center Founder and CEO, Brandy Anderson firmly believes in the power of family. Russell and his wife, in unison, share that separating families during recovery can be detrimental, while being together has fortified their bond as a resilient team.
Russell’s story encapsulates the core principles of Acceptance Recovery Center: healing, unity, and strength. It’s a testament to the unwavering commitment of ARC to prioritize the needs of individuals and their families, ensuring that no one walks the path to recovery alone. Together, they prove that family is not only a source of support but a beacon of hope on the journey to wellness
