Kristina McFadden graduated summa cum laude from Georgia Southern University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. In May 2016, she earned a Master of Social Work degree from UGA and started as a part-time office manager at ARC. She has grown alongside the organization over the years and filled almost every position before becoming the Clinical Program Director. Kristina is currently working toward obtaining her Master Addiction Counselor (MAC) credential.
At a young age, Kristina realized her passion for helping others. Growing up in a small town, she witnessed the devastating effects of addiction as she had several friends fall prey to the disease. While completing her graduate internship with the Athens Day Reporting Center, she was introduced to ARC and immediately fell in love with our mission. “Acceptance Recovery Center offers something I’ve personally never seen before in a residential care facility. It is not just a halfway house… it is a home that provides structure, education, and interventions that treat addiction in its true form, as a disease.” Kristina is humbled and excited to be part of #teamARC!
