We at ARC want you to know that there is no higher priority than the safety and well-being of our residents, our team, and our community. As news on the Coronavirus continues to evolve, we would like to assure you that we are taking all of the necessary precautions, as recommended by the CDC, to treat the public health threat seriously and to prevent the spread of the virus among our residents and team members. Resident care always comes first and we have implemented the guidelines recommended by the CDC.

Changes to Services

  1. Remote recovery support services are available through HIPAA compliant video conferencing
  2. Online community support meetings are acceptable program requirements

Sanitary Measures

  1. Educated residents and team on about the Coronavirus and its symptoms, proper handwashing guidelines, and precautions to take when in the community
  2. Encouraged to limit direct contact with one another and report any suspected symptoms to medical staff as soon as possible
  3. Set up signs throughout all facilities requiring hand-washing after touching any surfaces
  4. Increased sanitizing of public surfaces and commonly shared areas
  5. Implemented policies for in the event that a resident shows signs of flu-like symptoms. Set aside units (quarantine) have been implemented to support residents until cleared by professional medical staff
  6. Requiring all staff to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including masks and gloves while working
  7. Identified high-risk team members are working remotely
  8. Identified high-risk residents were given Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to keep them protected
  9. Screening conducted on 3 cycles per day for exposure to the COVID-19 based on a symptom check, body temperature reading, and self-reported history of recent travel or interactions with people known to have the virus

Social Distancing

  1. Enforcing social distancing measures, minimizing contact with persons outside the residence
  2. Set up team members to work remotely, when possible
  3. Restricting outside visitors/ vendors on any of our residential properties
  4. COVID screening process for residents returning from passes
  5. Encouraging team members to practice social distancing in their off hours
  6. Encouraging compliance with local ordinance requiring individuals to wear masks in all public establishments.
