Katlynn Rose Gunter serves as the Administrative Program Assistant at Acceptance Recovery Center, Inc. in Athens, Georgia. After completing two semesters as an intern, she joined the team part-time following graduation and eventually transitioned into a full-time role.
Katlynn graduated as an Honor Graduate from Madison County High School in 2019. On May 2, 2024, she graduated from Athens Technical College with her Associate’s Degree in Social Work (Social Work Assistant), along with Technical Certificates of Credit in Addictions and Domestic Violence. She is also QPR certified in suicide prevention and is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work at Indiana Wesleyan University. Her education and passion for helping others reflect her desire to turn life’s challenges into something meaningful and use her experiences to make a difference in the lives of others.
Katlynn has a genuine passion for helping others and supporting individuals on their journey toward long-term recovery. Her own life experiences have shaped her resilience, strengthened her faith, and deepened her desire to serve others with compassion and understanding. She believes that no matter what someone has been through, their past does not define their future, and everyone deserves the opportunity to heal, grow, and begin again.
Outside of work and school, Katlynn is a proud dog mom to Jethro and Benji. She strives to live with purpose, lead with kindness, and be a light to others. Her story is one of perseverance, faith, and continued growth, a reminder that even after life’s hardest seasons, there is still hope, strength, and beauty on the other side.
