The Women’s Center opened on May 1, 2019! ARC offers a minimum 12-month intensive residential program for high-need women seeking recovery from drug and alcohol addiction. ARC provides the highest-quality recovery experience possible to both the addict/alcoholic and the family that is affected.
Located just two miles from downtown Athens at 1692 Prince Avenue, the center’s opening marks the completion of Phase 1 of the “Break the Cycle” fundraising campaign to purchase and renovate the main house, housing 10 women. Phase 2 of the fundraising campaign is under way for an adjacent facility to increase total availability for up to 20 women.
